This stresses the need for technical assistance for en mass transfer of clean energy technologies and know how to developing countries.
Today, we know that acting now will cost far less than acting later.
Today, we have the technologies and instruments to allow the international community to respond to the global challenge of climate change in an efficient and effective manner, addressing simultaneously cost-effective mitigation and sustainable development objectives.
We ultimately decide through our behavior and investment decisions how efficiently energy is generated and used, and how its generation and end-use can impact the global climate.
