Francophone CDM project  (2005)

A demonstration project to: increase the understanding of counterparts/stakeholders of the potential and benefits for the CDM in (eleven) African Francophone countries (primarily LDCs); formulate national CDM institutional profiles for each participating country; assist in the preparation of a preliminary portfolio of industrial CDM project opportunities; & help with initial ‘marketing’ of the portfolio to the ‘carbon community’.

Austria-UNIDO project (2005-2006)

Following discussions with Austrian government (BMWA, BMAA, BMLFUW) and representatives of  business and industry (WKO), UNIDO has prepared a pilot project to support the development and uptake of CDM projects in the industrial sector in three geographically diverse countries. The project is expected to commence activities in autumn 2004.
