Specialized laboratory can detect and measure level of chlordane and its metabolites in human blood, urine, faeces, and breast milk but results cannot predict what health effects will occur, if any. These tests are not routinely available at the doctor's office. US tests have shown that most American population have low levels of chlordane metabolites in their body fat.
