UNIDO INDSTAT3 2006: Industrial Statistics Database at the 3-digit level of ISIC (Rev. 2)
Since 1984 UNIDO has been making available on CD-ROM to researchers outside the United Nations system its database (INDSTAT3) on industrial statistics at the 3-digit level of Revision 2 of the International Standard Industrial classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC).
UNIDO INDSTAT4 2008: Industrial Statistics Database at the 4-digit level of ISIC (Rev. 2 and 3)
Since the beginning of the 1990s, an increasing number of countries and areas have made a switchover in their data-reporting systems for industrial statistics from Revision 2 to Revision 3 of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC). Thus, the country coverage of UNIDO's database on industrial statistics based on ISIC (Revision 3) has been increasing steadily in recent years and is not made available to researchers and observers outside the United Nations system. The CD-ROM version of Industrial Statistics Database at the 4-digit Level of ISIC (Revision 3) (INDSTAT4 Rev.3) is to be disseminated together with the UNIDO Industrial Statistics Database at the 4-Digit Level of ISIC (Revision 2) (INDSTAT4 Rev.2).
UNIDO IDSB 2008: Industrial Demand-Supply Balance Database at the 4-digit level of ISIC (Rev. 2 and 3)
In addition to offering sets of production-related industrial statistics (i.e. INDSTAT3 and INDSTAT4 Databases), UNIDO is making its Industrial Demand-Supply Balance Databases (IDSB) available to external users. These databases for industrial output, trade and apparent consumption are available on CD-Rom. The IDSB 2008 contains two datasets, i.e. IDSB-Rev2, which is based on the 4-digit Level of ISIC (Revision 2), and IDSB-Rev3, which is based on the 4-digit Level of ISIC (Revision 3).

Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis and Reporting (COMFAR III Expert)
COMFAR III Expert is a software to facilitate the financial and economic appraisal of investment projects. It permits the user to simulate the short- and long-term financial situation of industrial and non-industrial investment projects, from new investments to rehabilitation, expansion, privatization and joint-venture projects. The type of projects, that can be analyzed with COMFAR III Expert, ranges from small and medium scale to large-scale production units such as chemical plants
PHAROS - Business Navigator
PHAROS - Business Navigator - is simple and easy to use however comprehensive PC software suite for measuring, monitoring and benchmarking of enterprise business performance. By comparing actual results to business targets or results in the past, Pharos allows managing 25 key performance indicators. Six lighthouse metaphors (Costs, Performance, Quality, Competitiveness, Product and Customer sales) are used for simple monitoring of overall business performance. Enterprise benchmarking and business assessment are available by seven main business indicators against any reference date in the past. The software provides simple procedure for having benchmarking reports about enterprise performance improvements in various technical programmes, e.g. capacity building, trade facilitation, investment promotion, innovation management, continuous improvement, etc. Pharos suite is effective executive education and training aid in learning IT applications in business management. Financial Improvement Toolkit (FIT)
The Financial Improvement Toolkit (FIT) is one of two tools developed by UNIDO for small- and medium-sized companies (see also Business Environment Strategic Toolkit, BEST) to help them upgrade in the context of the emerging liberalized trade order. Both focus on putting operational indicators to work in the decision-making processes of small firms. FIT enables annual analyses of strategic business units required for financial decisions. Using standard accounting data, it processes marketing and R&D costs to give 18 indicators for further analysis, e.g. added value, working capital and sales per employee. UNIDO offers special one-week training courses in both BEST and FIT to groups of enterprises. Price: Available on request.
