Mansour Cama is one of the leading voices in the Senegalese and African economy. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Senegalese Investment Company, which oversees business in trade ranging from fishing industries, leather processing, shoe manufacturing to water distribution, as well as controls market shares in real estate business, and, as a partner of Boygues Group, holds shares in the water distribution company Senegalese des Eaux, which is a nation-wide water supplier. The Senegalese Investment Company also operates in the mining sector.

Cama is a founding member of the National Confederation of Employers and has been its chairman since 1993.

Cama strongly advocates the widening of international trade agreements with African countries for a sustainable social and economic development. He believes that the best way to combat poverty is through private sector promotion, job creation and income generation.
