
DG holds review meeting with Field Office staff in New Delhi
Kandeh Yumkella, UNIDO Director-General, held a review meeting at the South Asia regional Field Office in New Delhi on 26 October, 2010.

UNIDO signs $ 14 million project for phase-out of Bolychlorinated Biphenyls (PBCs) pollutants in India.
The project is expected to lead to phasing out of outdated PCB-containing equipment in India. This in turn will contribute to India achieving its obligations under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.

Expanding cooperation between India and UNIDO
UNIDO Director-General Kandeh K. Yumkella was on a week-long official visit to India from 4 to 10 February 2010.
