Greening Industry for a better life - Shanghai Expo 2010

As the Shanghai Expo started on May 1, 2010, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is now showcasing its work, from May 23 to May 28, taking part in the UN Pavilion exhibitions.

UNIDO presents its work in the area of development of rural cities in China, and of various environmentally sound projects.UNIDO's focus while exhibiting is "Greening Industry for a better life."

The main theme of the expo is "Better City, Better Life" and it shows initiatives aimed at achieving better living conditions and more sustainable urban environments, where over half of the world’s population lives.
