Financial Analysis of Investment Project Scenarios with Application of COMFAR III Expert software
A 5-day Training Workshop will present the internationally accepted UNIDO methodologies and tools for project formulation and appraisal including COMFAR III Expert (Computer Model for Feasibility Analysis and Reporting). COMFAR facilitates the fast computation of financial statements needed for financial and economic appraisal of investment projects. It can be used for small- to large-scale projects, expansion, rehabilitation and modernization of existing enterprises and joint ventures.

TRAINING SEMINARS
We would like to announce that the training seminars that have been halted for some time will be re-introduced in the near future. In line with the on-going review of COMFAR the curriculum of the training seminars on the use of COMFAR III software are also being reviewed. The new seminars incorporating the new approaches being developed. Please note that for seminars organized by UNIDO, normally there is a lead time of 4-6 weeks.

COMFAR 4 INVEST
The last version 3.3 of COMFAR III EXPERT is now under re-development to ensure that recent changes in accounting standards, financial statement formats and economic cost-benefit analysis approaches are introduced and case studies reflect more recent examples. A new COMFAR 4 INVEST is in the process of development by UNIDO. Tentative date for release of financial part of new software is March 2013. In parallel UNIDO has initiated development of a new, integrated COMFAR product for business plan preparation, pre-feasibility analysis and investment project profiling. COMFAR ONLINE will be available to users at the end of 2012. All products in COMFAR 4 software family will be based on a new programming platform. Future plans include development of specialized COMFAR 4 versions e.g. COMFAR 4 AGRO , COMFAR 4 SME, COMFAR 4 INFRASTRUCTURE and several others. More news coming soon.
