• Vienna Energy Forum 2013

The Vienna Energy Forum (VEF) is a leading forum for policymakers, thought leaders and practitioners on issues related to sustainable energy for development.

Organized one year after the Rio+20 summit, where world leaders agreed on an outcome document - “The Future We Want” - defining a path towards global sustainable development, the third Vienna Energy Forum (VEF 2013) focuses on the energy dimension captured in the outcome document and provides a high-level forum for the exchange of ideas, forging of networks and mutual learning.

VEF 2013 will address these fundamental questions:

  • Are we on the right track to implement the vision of Sustainable Energy for All by 2030?
  • How do we move from commitments to kilowatt hours of clean and affordable energy in countries where it matters most?
  • Do we have the policies and partnerships in place to guarantee a future powered by sustainable energy?

Join us in Vienna, Austria, to engage in a highly dynamic and critical debate on one of the most relevant topics of our time.
