Duration: 3-6 working months

Duty Station: UNIDO Headquarters in Vienna

Organizational Context: The Bureau for Programme Results Monitoring is responsible for ensuring that the tools developed under the change management initiatives, the Business Process Redesign (BPR) and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) are being implemented and that lessons learned from monitoring are being incorporated into the technical cooperation cycle. This Bureau also serves as the secretariat of Screening and Technical Review Committee.

Tasks: Under the overall guidance of the Director and the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer, the intern will perform the following tasks:

1. Assist Function Leads and Change Agents in their daily work for the current ERP Implementation for Core Business/TC activities;

2. Conduct research, draft reports and perform other tasks other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification requirements:

a.) Minimum academic background and/or field of specialisation required: first-level university degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field and enrolment in a higher-level university programme.

b.) Computer literacy: Microsoft Windows, proficient use of processing tools such as Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.

c.) Language skills: Fluency in English required, good knowledge of another official UN working language desirable.
