All Africa Leather Fair and Ethiopian Leather Industries Investment Forum

Addis Ababa, 24 – 26 January 2008

UNIDO has launched an initiative in cooperation with the Ethiopian Leather Industries Association (ELIA) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry to link Ethiopian producers to international players and ‘to scale-up’ the FDI flow into the LLPI, through a well-focused investment and technology promotion.

UNIDO organized an Investment Forum for the LLPI to coincide with the celebration of the Ethiopian “Millennium” and to support the efforts of the association in the organization of the All Africa Leather Fair (AALF). UNDP joined UNIDO in the funding of the event.
