UNIDO’s sub-regional programmes and projects are formulated jointly with UNIDO's counterparts, according to national priorities. Usually, they include technical cooperation and are conducted from UNIDO’s Headquarter. At the same time, they are supported by experts on the specific field of interest and supervised by the regional field offices (Mexico, Columbia, Uruguay). More

• National Projects and Programmes

UNIDO has implemented a pertinent number of technical cooperation projects in different sectors and within the thematic areas of the Organization. However, joint efforts are envisaged to meet major national industrial development challenges. By improving industrial competitiveness in the region, the programmes aim at contributing to job creation and income generation. More
