Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

a) Hold at least a Masters degree (or equivalent) in development economics, engineering, sciences or other relevant discipline;

b) Be proficient in both written and spoken English; knowledge of another official language will be an asset;

c) Have excellent drafting skills;

d) Normally have a minimum of 1 year working experience in industry, research institution or other areas relevant to UNIDO’s mandate.

e) Be not more than 30 years old at the time of application; candidates in the 28 to 30 years age bracket should have a PhD or a minimum of 3 years working experience and a Masters degree (or equivalent).
