UNIDO's IFI Partnership
UNIDO is strengthening its strategic partnership with financial institutions, the private sector and other UN-system agencies in pursuit of increasing the development impact of its technical assistance to member states. Through a multi-disciplinary team approach under the International Financial Institutions Partnerships Unit, UNIDO is working closely with International Financial Institutions to formulate and/or implement large-scale programmes with multiple impacts and beneficiaries.

Partner Institutions
UNIDO is working closely with International Financial Institutions, such as the African Development Bank, the World Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to formulate and implement large scale programmes with multiple impacts and beneficiaries.

Events: Expert Group Meeting - Developing a Value Chain Diagnostics Tool for Common Practices at UNIDO
An EGM on Industrial Value Chain Diagnostic Tool will be held in Vienna from 23-25 September 2009. The EGM aims at reviewing existing Value Chain Development methodologies and approaches, and consolidate a diagnostics tool and methodology tailored for industrial value chain development to be commonly used at UNIDO.
