In 1990, the International Company for Agricultural Development was established as an Egyptian, Kuwaiti and Dutch joint venture. Expanding from the production of the highest quality pre-fried French Fries to the farming of potatoes and frozen vegetables processing, the company has consolidated its position as the leading producer of frozen products for local and international markets, from Egypt.
In 1999 our new line of frozen vegetables and fruits processing was initiated in parallel to our renounced production of the highest quality pre-fried potato products and potato farming. Accordingly, the company has consolidated its position as the largest producer of frozen food products in the Egyptian Market.
Farm Frites complies with the international certifications GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001 and AIB in its industrial operations and EurepGap & ISO 9002 in its farming operations.
Farm Frites is involved in a major potato farming operation of over more than 17,000 acres, the biggest of its kind in the Middle East, to supply all the processing requirements of raw potatoes to the factory located at the 10th of Ramadan City.
Farm Frites exports over 70% of its production to the Middle East, Africa, America, and Japan. The success of Farm Frites is the result of quality in every detail, from growing to harvesting, from organization to employees and from logistics to service. These factors combined to make Farm Frites a reliable producer with clients all over the world.
