IT Synergy team of consultants is familiar with the language of technology customized for the local reality, needs and solutions. Large-scale project planning and implementation, one could say, is IT Synergy's genetic heritage. Information technology forms a solid core of many initiatives today; project formulation is our core competency. Management complexity increases in geometric progression at a pace which outstrips project growth; we apply technology to project formulations and monitoring/assessment initiatives.
We have worked intensively with SMEs as well as with International Organizations such UNIDO, UNDP and the Mediterranean Agroeconomic Institute and with the Italian Cooperation in Traceability related projects, adding some unique components: the integration with GIS - Geographical Information Systems and the ability to provide rich information to the end customer, establishing an element of “fair-trade” and South-North dialogue. We have implemented Geo-traceability projects in many emerging countries and in Italy. The National Traceability System – NATS – implemented by the Egyptian government, has been the latest success of implementing our approach on a national scale.
To ensure sustainability and replicability of the E-Trace initiative, UNIDO has chosen IT Synergy to implement an E-Learning platform based on Open Source technology.
