UNIDO ITPO Bahrain

General information

The UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain was inaugurated on 22nd April 1996. ITPO Bahrain is designed to facilitate the mobilization of foreign resources (technical, managerial, financial etc) for enhancing industrial partnership cooperation between companies in Bahrain and other nations.

The office is co-funded by the Government of Bahrain and UNIDO (through the Saudi Arabian voluntary contribution to the Industrial Development Fund). ITPO services primarily Bahrain but has also extended services to other countries in the Gulf Region.

Services

The main objective of the office is to contribute to the industrialization efforts of Bahrain for promoting joint industrial investment opportunities, identifying and mobilizing the technical, financial, managerial and other resources required for the implementation of specific industrial investment projects and fostering business cooperation between foreign investors and potential partners in Bahrain.
