Democratic Republic of Congo's Ambassador Paul-Emile Tshinga Ahuka presents credentials

The new Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to UNIDO, Paul - Emile Tshinga Ahuka, presented his credentials today to UNIDO Director-General, Kandeh K. Yumkella.

Ambassador Tshinga Ahuka has served in many capacities in the course of his career, including Chief of Technical Cooperation to the Vice-Minister for International Cooperation and Advisor to the embassy and Chargé d’affaires in Bonn. He was appointed Minister Plenipotentiary in 2003 in Belgrade, and is still stationed in Serbia.

In addition to his diplomatic functions, Mr. Tshinga Ahuka is involved in research for the University of Kinshasa. He has participated in many professional development workshops and seminars in international relations and has written several books.

Mr. Tshinga Ahuka studied at the University of Lubumbashi, DRC; at the International Relations Institute of Cameroon; and at the Liège University and holds a Ph.D. in International Relations. He is married and has five children.
