Malaysia's Ambassador Mohd. Arshad bin Manzoor Hussain presents credentials

The new Permanent Representative of Malaysia to UNIDO, Ambassador Mohd. Arshad bin Manzoor Hussain, presented his credentials today to UNIDO Director-General, Kandeh K. Yumkella.
Immediately prior to his current appointment, Mr. bin Manzoor Hussain was Undersecretary, Americas Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia (2003-06).
Mr. bin Manzoor Hussain is a career diplomat with over 32 years experience in the Malaysian Foreign Ministry. He has served in many capacities in the course of his career, including as: Undersecretary, Special Functions, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003), High Commissioner of Malaysia to Australia (2001-03), Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines (1999-2001), Undersecretary, Southeast Asia and Pacific Division (1996-99) and Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City (1992-96).
Mr. bin Manzoor Hussain studied at the University of Malaya and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. He is married and has three children.
