On 8 July, UNIDO, in cooperation with the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) and Japan’s Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO), will organize a side event. Titled “From standards compliance to shared value: making value chains meet development challenges”, the side event will focus on the interconnectedness of different elements of quality infrastructure (standards, including private standards, accreditation and certification), and value chain development.
