This event will showcase the Green Industry Platform, a multi-stakeholder initiative launched by UNIDO and UNEP to promote a systematic uptake of Green Industry policies and practices by the global manufacturing industry. Presentations and case studies from select private sector leaders on concrete activities and opportunities in the field of Green Industry will be featured. Topics of discussion will include Greening the Supply Chain; Green Chemistry; and Resource Efficiency. Following the presentations, a facilitated discussion will be held amongst notable panelists and audience members, on the steps industry can and must take to improve environmental performance.
