  • GGGI Side Event: Greening Industry through Green Growth Programs

    The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) supports government partners in developing their national and sectoral green growth plans.  GGGI also facilitates mobilizing green and climate finance to implement green growth projects.

    This side-event will showcase how promoting green industrial practices contribute to green growth through enabling policies, financial mechanisms, and initiatives. Regional experience and country examples from Thailand and Viet Nam will be introduced.

    GGGI, through the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), is also in the process of establishing a Green Industry Platform for effective knowledge sharing, learning, and partnerships.  A soft launch of this Platform will take place during this side-event focusing on the overview and strategy for relaunching the platform as well as providing an overview of the type of information and data the platform will include.
