The purpose of the 20th Conference of African Ministers of Industry (CAMI-20) is to bring together African Ministers of Industry, African experts in industrial development and African industrialists, African Private Sector, Academia, UN agencies and NGOs and other relevant development partners to brainstorm together on some of the key issues for African industrial development within the Post-2015 Development Agenda. The meeting will provide guidelines for policy orientation and coherence within Post-2015 Development Framework, and high­light Africa’s industrialization as a key factor for the development processes in the continent. This will highlight, for instance, support for the implementation of the Strategy for the Action Plan for Accelerated Industrial Development of Africa (AIDA), production diversification, decent  job creation, energy production for industrial development and technology transfer.
