Capacity building for women entrepreneurship development in soya bean processing through transfer of technology and business development services

The project aims to create sustainable productive businesses in soya bean processing, which will contribute to poverty alleviation through employment creation, raised income levels and decreasing levels of malnutrition in rural areas in Malawi. The focus of the project is to provide entrepreneurship development training, coaching and business support services to women entrepreneurs in food processing, to enable them to add value to soya beans and to introduce high protein food products to the local market.
This will be achieved by strengthening the capacities of public and private agencies and NGOs to develop and provide training as well as business advisory services and business coaching to women entrepreneurs in poor rural areas, empowering them to manage sustainable micro and small enterprises with competitive products.
