Around 160 business-to-business meetings (B2Bs) were organized between Ethiopian and foreign companies on the sidelines of the forum.
The B2B segment linked up potential investors with domestic companies operating in food processing, textiles and garments, and leather and leather products. 58 Ethiopian companies were profiled for joint venture opportunities and featured in an Investment Opportunities Directory.
Over the course of this forum, around 20 business-to-government (B2G) meetings occurred between foreign companies and the Ministry of Industry, the European Investment Commission and other government representatives. These B2G meetings allowed government representatives to answer specific investor queries and promote various investment incentives, frameworks and support services for domestic and foreign direct investment.
