Seminar: Accelerating sustainable energy for all in Landlocked Developing Countries through innovative partnerships
The Government of Austria, the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) are jointly organizing a high-level seminar on “Accelerating sustainable energy for all in Landlocked Developing Countries through Innovative Partnerships”.
The seminar is part of the follow-up and implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action. Being held in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement, which call for universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy services for all., the meeting will review the progress made towards sustainable energy for all in the Landlocked Developing Countries, and the role played by multi-stakeholder partnerships. it will also identify challenges and suggest areas where partnerships can be further strengthened.
