Sustainable Production in Leather Processing Industry – Challenges & Development with focus on Environment

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Government of Turkey   by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Bursa Test and Analysis Laboratory (BUTAL.) will host the  International Workshop on Sustainable Production in Leather Processing Industry from 28 May – 07 June 2013.

The workshop, which aims to promote better knowledge and understanding of sustainable production in leather processing industry and sustainable technologies, will bring together some twelve participants from developing countries and transition economies.

The workshop will be organized at TÜBİTAK/BUTAL in Bursa and is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and the Turkish International Cooperation & Coordination Agency (TIKA),Members of research institutions, universities, governmental agencies, private sector research and development laboratories/companies, and NGOs interested are recommended to apply.

Applications are open until 25 March 2013.
