Technical Challenges: High-moisture dates – How UNIDO has harnessed its resources to address specific hurdles
The 38th Meeting of the Open-Ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol is taking place at the Vienna International Centre from 18 to 21 July. On this occasion, UNIDO’s Department of Environment, which is deeply engaged in projects related to the implementation of the Montreal Protocol, will offer a side event on how to overcome the technical challenges, based on its experience with phasing out methyl bromide in the date production sector. A special focus will also lie on forthcoming technical challenges, for example concerning N2O phase-out.
The side event will take place on the 21st of July and will review the outcomes that have been achieved and discuss UNIDO’s abilities to engage in future challenges. For more information on all side events, click here.
