Vienna Food Safety Forum
Within the context of the UNIDO-CFDA cooperation on food safety capacity building, the Vienna Food Safety Forum will take place on 11 September 2015 in Vienna, Austria. The thematic focus of the Forum will emphasize the multiple benefits of safe food for social inclusiveness, sustainability and industrial development.
With food value chains stretching around the world, the need to strengthen food safety systems within and among countries is becoming more critical.
The forum will address the global governance of food regulatory systems and showcase examples from around the world.

The forum will thematically focus on issues pertaining International Food Safety Governance, Industry Engagement in Food Safety Capacity Building and more specifically on Risk Management in the Dairy Sector.
Industry has a major role in guaranteeing efficiency and effectiveness of food supply systems and ensuring that it results in a supply of safe food products.
The Vienna Food Safety Forum will allow international experts to highlight the importance of private sector engagement in advancing food safety capacity building and present case studies from a food industry perspective.
