Ministerial Meeting on Energy and Green Industry

One of the key events of the Vienna Energy Forum 2011 is the Ministerial Meeting on Energy and Green Industry that will be held on 21 and 22 June at the Hofburg Palace, in parallel with the VEF meeting.

The objective of the Ministerial Meeting is to initiate a high-level dialogue on strategies and solutions, including the role of the public sector and international cooperation, in support of three inter-related global objectives: a) expanding access to clean energy, b) enhancing industrial energy efficiency, and c) promoting green industry as an integral component of the transition to a green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication.
