The Committee’s role is to assess and invest into micro and small business projects engaged in the agro-food processing sector, with the aim of increasing the added value of selected agricultural value chains in the State of Kassala. Furthermore, the EDC works in collaboration with a network of local financial institutions, which have the opportunity to co-finance approved business projects.
