Speech delivered at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, 10 December 2013
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Friends and Colleagues,
It is great to be back to Washington D.C., particularly at this festive time of the year. As you know, I lived in this beautiful city for many years, and it is my particular pleasure to see so many familiar faces here at this beautiful new headquarters of the CSIS. Thank you so much for this kind invitation.
In today’s dialogue, you asked me to address “Trade and Technology as Drivers of Prosperity”. Thank you for choosing such a pertinent and important topic – indeed for all countries, industrializing and industrialized countries alike.
