UNIDO to co-organize training course in Turkey on sustainable technologies

ANKARA, 14 May 2012 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the National Nanotechnology Research Centre (UNAM) will host the 2nd International Workshop on Cleanroom Training for Critical and Sustainable Technologies from 25 June to 8 July.

The workshop, which aims to promote better knowledge and understanding of cleanroom use and sustainable technologies, will bring together some forty participants, including from developing countries and transition economies.

The workshop will be organized at UNAM headquarters in Ankara and is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, the Turkish International Cooperation & Coordination Agency (TIKA), and the Turkish Ministry of Development.

Members of research institutions, universities, governmental agencies, private sector research and development laboratories/companies, and NGOs interested are recommended to apply.

Applications are open until 25 May.
