MINSTAT 2014 is the first edition of the database on mining and quarrying and utilities sectors combining production and supply of electricity, gas, water, hot water, steam and air-conditioning.
MINSTAT contains time series data on the following indicators:
- Number of establishments.
- Number of employees.
- Number of female employees.
- Wages and salaries.
- Output.
- Value added.
- Gross fixed capital formation.
Data are presented at the 2- and 3-digit levels of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 3 and 4.
MINSTAT Rev 3 contains data for seven sectors and fourteen sub-sectors (ISIC divisions and groups) for the period from 1995 (1990 in some cases) to 2012 for more than 100 countries. MINSTAT Rev 4 comprises ten sectors and nineteen sub-sectors for the period from 2005 to 2012 for more than 50 countries.
