Liberia's Ambassador Dudley McKinley Thomas presents credentials

The new Permanent Representative of Liberia to UNIDO, Ambassador Dudley McKinley Thomas, presented his credentials today to UNIDO Deputy to the Director-General, Haruko Hirose.
Ambassador Thomas is stationed in Paris (it is anticipated that a liaison office will be opened in Vienna) and has a number of other responsibilities in addition to being Permanent Representative to UNIDO: since March 2005 he has been Ambassador / Permanent Delegate to UNESCO; since June 2005, Ambassador to France; since June 2005, Ambassador to Switzerland; and since October 2005, Ambassador to Greece. Ambassador McKinley is also Ambassador-Appointed to Spain and Ambassador-Designate to Portugal.
Ambassador Thomas has a BSc in Environmental Design (Architecture) having had considerable experience in the private sector in architecture and marketing prior to joining the diplomatic community as Protocol Officer at the Liberian Reconciliation Conference in April 1998.
The Ambassador is married with two children.
