Are we really ready for a zero-carbon economy?
10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Business, politics and our global community are going to need to reinvent themselves if we want to meet our climate goals. The march to net-zero will inevitably produce winners and losers, but planning must take place at all levels so that new value is created and nobody is left behind. As the global south industrialises, we simply can’t afford to have them make the same mistakes we’ve made in the past. So let’s explore ways of creating tech, knowledge and value transfer that sees benefits flowing North, South, East and West. Come and understand where society, industry and our global community are heading in the new economy.
