NOUAKCHOTT, 4 July 2018 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Mauritania’s Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Industry jointly launched the UNIDO Country Programme (CP) to stimulate the structural transformation of the national economy and to increase its competitiveness towards its insertion in the global market.

They explored the opportunities and challenges for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reap benefits from Thailand’s increasing participation in global trade and investment flows. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry’s Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from 2-6 July 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.
