CHISINAU, Moldova, 14 May 2019 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Government of Moldova launched a Country Programme (CP) covering the period from 2019 to 2023 to accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development in the country. Setting up the strategic vision for engagement and partnership between the two parties, the CP will contribute to fostering smart, sustainable and inclusive economic growth through the promotion of a knowledge-based, competitive and resource-efficient industry.

VIENNA, 13 May 2019 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) presented its agri-business work related to Food Systems and Nutrition at the Global Food Innovation Summit in Milan. VIENNA, 07 May 2019 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has convened an expert group meeting on the Enhancing the Quality of Industrial Polices (EQuIP) initiative in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The objectives of the meeting were to discuss and review the expansion of the EQuIP learning toolboxes, especially in in the areas of climate change, industrial development and gender equality.
