International Day of Clean Air for blue skies

Banner blue skies

Did you know that air pollution is the greatest environmental threat to our health? It causes approximately 7 million premature deaths per year, accelerates climate change, is a major threat to nature, and damages our environment.

To increase awareness of this threat and to highlight existing solutions to the problem, the UN General Assembly designated 7 September as the “International Day of Clean Air for blue skies”. UNIDO, UNEP and WHO are proud to commemorate this UN-wide initiative and look forward to welcoming you at our event based on the theme:The air we share”.

SAVE THE DATE and join us on 7 September 2022 at 14:00 CET as we celebrate this International Day. Come and learn how we can all benefit from and contribute to cleaner air.
