ITPO Republic of Korea

UNIDO ITPO Korea was established in 1987 through an agreement between UNIDO and the Government of the Republic of Korea. Since Korea joined the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) in 2009, ITPO Korea has actively supported poverty reduction and sustainable industrial development in developing countries by leveraging UNIDO's global network of regional offices.

ITPO Korea implements various programs to foster investment and technology transfer from Korean companies to developing nations. Additionally, ITPO Korea facilitates meaningful communication and collaboration between Korea and its partner countries, streamlining the process of cooperation and fostering mutual growth and development.

Services:

Advisory Programme: ITPO Korea offers advisory services to domestic private and public partners on market entry and technology transfer, including market research, partnership facilitation, and guidance on local investment laws and policy trends. 
Delegate Programme: ITPO Korea invites high-level delegates from partner countries for bilateral business meetings and study tours to facilitate overseas expansion and foreign investment of Korean companies.
Investment Promotion: ITPO Korea provides personalized Business-to-Government (B2G) consulting services to support domestic stakeholders expanding into developing countries. 
Capacity Building: ITPO Korea organizes capacity-building initiatives such as COMFAR III training programs and workshops to facilitate technology transfer and knowledge sharing.
