VIENNA, 11 May 2022 – The Director General, Gerd Müller, met António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, during his visit to Austria to attend the first regular session of the 2022 Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) meeting .

 

The Director General emphasized his and the Organization’s strong support for the work of the United Nations system. He also took the opportunity to highlight the new priorities for the Organization, and presented his vision and motto, “Progress by innovation”.

The Secretary-General extended his full support to the new Director General and noted, “with you, UNIDO will be strong and innovative.”
