VIENNA, 10 JUNE 2022 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) celebrates the 2022 World Accreditation Day themed “Sustainability in Economic Growth and the Environment” by launching the Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (QI4SD) Index.

 

Developed within the framework of the Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP), which is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), in collaboration with partners from the International Network on Quality Infrastructure (INetQI), the Index measures the contribution of Quality Infrastructure towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As such, indicators are aggregated into the “3Ps”, namely Prosperity (economic dimension), People (social dimension), and Planet (environmental dimension).
