Supant Mongkolsuthree is Chairman of The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
He is also the Chairman of Synnex (Thailand) PCL, the company he founded in 1988. Under Mr. Supant’s leadership, Synnex has been recognized as one of the biggest IT distributors adhering strictly to his business code of conduct which incorporates honesty, impartiality, innovativeness and achievement-oriented principles.
In addition to his success in Business Career, Mr. Supant also serves as: Member of National Legislative Assembly and concurrently as Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Industry, The National Assembly Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry, and Labor; Advisor to the Association of Thai ICT Industry (2004-present); Advisor to Thai Printing Association (2015-present); Advisory Director of Thai Listed Companies Association (2006-present); Chairman of Activity Promotion Committee/Council Director of Royal Police Cadet Academy (2008-present); Member of the Cultural Fund Committee, Department of Cultural Promotion (2012-present); and Private Sector Co-Chaired of the Working Group on SME-Start-up and Social Enterprise Promotion, the Public-Private Collaborative Committee (2015-present)
Mr. Supant has been elected as the Chairman of the Federation of Thai Federation of Thai Industries twice; first for the term of office between 2014 and 2016, his second term began on April 2018. His vision for the FTI for 2018-2020 is to create Industry Transformation through various initiatives such as Industry Capacity Building, Promoting Start-up and MSMEs, and supporting Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Mr. Supant obtained a Bachelor of General Management degree from Sukhothai Thammathirat University in 1990, a Master of Business Administration from City University, United States in 1997 and a Master of Political Science from Chulalongkorn University in 2000. He also obtained an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Economics from Ramkhamhaeng University in 2003.
