Sustainable Supply Chains

Sustainable Supply Chains Stand

Focusing on fairness, environmental responsibility and resource efficiency, UNIDO aims to promote ethical and environmentally sustainable local industrial production in developing countries. The programmatic solutions encompass the integration of countries into value chains in a socially just and inclusive manner, the promotion of sustainability standards and compliance for market access, and the advancement of a circular economy through eco-design. UNIDO prioritizes the empowerment of youth, women and SMEs, providing them with the necessary skills to actively participate in sustainable supply chains. Sustainable investment is also a key component: building institutional and policymaking capacities creates a conducive business environment.
