UNIDO is organizing four regional workshops on industrial policy for SDG acceleration. These workshops aim at gathering substantive inputs for the IDR 2024 from Member States and regional experts, providing a grounded, expert-guided foundation for the policy recommendations of the report. Additionally, the workshops will serve as a platform for dialogue and knowledge sharing, where participants can discuss and explore current trends and developments related to SDG acceleration through industrial policy within their regions.

While the challenges we face may be unprecedented, they also present unique opportunities for rethinking, innovating, and forging a resilient and inclusive path for industrial development. As we navigate an era that demands a strengthened and coherent response, we believe these workshops will help enhance our collective capacity to tackle the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities, paving a sustainable and resilient path toward the 2030 Agenda.
