ITPO Russian Federation (UNIDO Centre for international industrial cooperation) was established in 1989 in Moscow. It operates under the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and UNIDO. Its mandate is to promote international cooperation in the economic, technological, industrial, and scientific spheres between Russian enterprises, associations and organizations and firms from developed and developing countries.

  • Identification and promotion of Russian sustainable technologies in developing and emerging countries. 

  • Promotion of Russian industrial Investment opportunities to the potential partners worldwide. 

  • Upgrading skills and managerial capabilities of public and private stakeholders on implementing and supporting industrial development projects. 

  • Investment and technology promotion through capacity building and R&D support. 

  • Selection, development, and coordination of UNIDO programmes and projects in Russia and other countries.
